The event included discussions on the U.S. government’s involvement in energy transition; a presentation by Zachery Halem, Director of the Lazard Climate Center, on a recent co-authored analysis of corporate climate messaging and its financial impacts; a review of the key findings from Lazard’s new 2023 LCOE+ Report; panel discussions on how different markets currently view the energy landscape; and two fireside chats.

The keynote panel, “How is the U.S. Government Enabling the Energy Transition and Economic Growth?” saw participants discussing the impact of the U.S. Inflation Reduction Act on climate change, as well as the biggest hinderances in the clean energy transition effort.
The conference also featured panels focused on how public and private markets view energy transition and ESG, a conversation on the value of utilizing diverse energy sources, as well as a discussion on whether there is a “Silver Bullet” solution for the energy transition.
