Lazard Volunteers for 9/11 Day of Service 2023

In honor of 9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance, on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, Lazard Work for Good and the Lazard Veterans Network jointly participated in meal-packing volunteer events in New York and Los Angeles.

In New York, approximately 40 volunteers from Lazard travelled to the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum on the Hudson River, and spent the morning in the iconic aircraft carrier's Hangar 3, preparing meals for the hungry.

Lazard colleagues in New York and Los Angeles were among volunteers across the United States taking part in this event. The nationwide goal was to pack as many as two million healthy, nonperishable meals across 12-15 cities for people who are food insecure.

All meals packed were donated to and distributed by local Feeding America food banks to people in need, many of whom are struggling as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
