Lazard Tokyo Participates in FIT for Charity Run

On December 10, under the beautiful blue skies, colleagues from Lazard's Asset Management and Financial Advisory businesses in Japan joined forces to take part in the Financial Industry in Tokyo "FIT for Charity Run."

This philanthropic event is dedicated to raising funds for local community organizations in Tokyo that address crucial yet often underappreciated needs, and which may possess limited fundraising capabilities.

This year, the FIT event successfully raised an impressive JPY 53,662,400 ($370,000), all of which will be allocated to eight charities focused on tackling various social issues in the greater Tokyo area. The event was orchestrated by a team of 400 dedicated volunteers and attracted over 4,000 participants.

The runners from Lazard put in an impressive performance during the race. Lazard colleagues also volunteered to support the runners and were busy handing out bananas and drinks to the participants as they crossed the finish line.

Lazard Tokyo is honored to have contributed to this remarkable charity event and remains hopeful that their involvement will have a positive impact on the local community.
