Passion and purpose inspire our support for local communities through both charitable contributions and hands-on volunteer activities. We encourage our people to participate through a variety of volunteer programs that allow for individual engagement, team building, and leadership opportunities. In addition, through our charitable organizations, we provide financial support to nonprofit organizations around the world.
Our Community Engagement Groups
Lazard Empowers gives colleagues the opportunity to support secondary school students from lower socioeconomic backgrounds through its sponsorship of the nonprofit SEO London’s program SEO ADVANCE.
The Lazard Foundation partners with nonprofits to provide teens from under-resourced communities with skill-based programs related to career preparation and financial education. Donations made by U.S. employees are also increased by corporate matching funds to qualified nonprofit organizations.
The Lazard New Visions Academy, launched in 2021, is a signature initiative funded by the Lazard Foundation that provides New York City public high school students the opportunity to gain vital knowledge, experience and relationships to set them on a future path toward rewarding professional careers.
Created in 2020, the purpose of the Lazard Frères Gestion Foundation is to promote and safeguard patronage of the arts, in particular music and painting, through the restoration and exhibition of works of art, as well as through education and research.
Lazard S'Engage promotes the work and commitment of Lazard Paris to reduce our environmental footprint and increase social inclusion, supporting the chance given to everyone to progress and succeed on their merits, an openness to difference, and the spirit of cooperation and solidarity.
Our global Work for Good program promotes employee engagement through organizations that facilitate volunteer work and charitable giving. We provide employees paid time-off to volunteer with a wide variety of local charities, helping to inspire colleagues to make a difference and share experiences with peers outside of the workplace.
